Taking Root

You are a little alien who finds yourself in an endless autumn forest.

Feed the Great Tree with treasures you find in the forest to help it grow its roots. In return, it will grant you helpful abilities as you settle into your new home. Help the tree take root, and perhaps you’ll find a way to take root here, too.

Jam Comment: I didn't have time to balance the game at all, so the progression might feel uneven.
Still, it turned out pretty well—just a bit longer to play through. It takes about 25–35 minutes to complete.
There is gamepad support, too; it’s not fully polished, but it is playable.
Also, the rain particles went missing in the web build...
Once the jam is over, I’ll upload a patched version. But for now, a jam is a jam—you get what you managed to finish in time
